Choose the Best Floating Shelves for You
What makes Quicklock floating shelves so special? First, our cabinets and shelves are made right here in the USA and expertly crafted by Amish hands. We use only the finest 100% hardwood materials, such as hickory and maple, in our cabinet and wall shelves, so you get beautiful solid wood shelves ready for everyday heavy-duty use in your kitchen, home office, or small business area.
Our natural wood floating shelves' solid, high-quality construction gives them a recommended weight capacity of 250 to 30 pounds when attached to a wall stud, perfect for your home improvement and DIY projects. And, because we use real wood from different wood species in the construction of our floating shelves, each one will have its own unique characteristics, giving your space a one-of-a-kind appearance.
Our Premium hardwood shelves feature invisible mounting and are available in four beautiful colors and two stunning finishes: Pure White, Needlepoint Navy, Magnetic Gray, Espresso, Provincial Stain, and our best-seller Rustic Hickory. For those who prefer the look of all-natural wood or want to do the painting and staining themselves.
Quicklock also offers raw wood floating shelves, such as our Raw Cherry, Raw Hickory, and Raw Maple floating shelves. What's more, each of our hardwood shelves is hand-sanded to a silky smooth 180 grit for a smooth feeling no matter which paint or finish you choose.

How to Install Floating Shelves
The assembly and installation process for each Quicklock floating wood shelf is also quick, easy, and straightforward with the included mounting hardware. Our wooden shelves use sturdy suspension brackets that anchor to your wall studs, but you can also use drywall anchors. A wood "shell" then slips over the floating shelf bracket, hiding them from view so you can enjoy a clean and modern look in your space without ugly visible brackets affecting the decor.
Step-by-Step Installation Guide
- Determine where you want your wall shelf to be. Use a tape measure to measure the height from the ground or the top of your counter, and place a mark in the general area where you will be installing the shelf.
- Use a stud finder to find and mark the wall studs.
- Place the floating shelf bracket up to the wall and position it in the final spot. Place a mark on the bracket where it will cover a wall stud.
- When installing by yourself, place the floating shelf bracket on the floor and make pre-drilled holes or get the screws started.
- Place the bracket back over the previously marked area and use a drill to screw the mounting bracket to the wall on one stud. For 12-inch shelves, make sure to hit at least one stud, then use a drywall anchor for the other side of the bracket.
- Once the bracket is attached to the wall by one screw, use a level and adjust the wall shelf so that it is even.
- Once the shelf is level, secure it to the wall using another screw and wall stud or drywall anchor.
- Pre-fit the front brace onto the front of the bracket and secure it using two screws.
- Once the floating shelf bracket is fully installed, you may slide the floating shelf cover over the bracket. Optionally, you may also use two set screws to secure the shelf cover to the bracket.
